About Amo Nurudeen Tomiwa

Amo Nurudeen Tomiwa is an international trade facilitator and the founder of GlobalMarketJapan, a platform dedicated to building trusted commercial bridges between Japan and reliable global partners in food, technology, and essential industries.

His work is grounded in a multidisciplinary background spanning engineering, public service, international business, and long-term integration within Japanese society.

Mr. Tomiwa holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Agricultural Engineering from Nigeria and a Master of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Saitama University, Japan. He was later selected for the JICA & JETRO African Business Education Initiative, where he gained direct experience in international trade promotion, business matching programs, and structured collaboration with Japanese companies and institutions.

Professionally, he has served with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development of Nigeria, where he was involved in water resources management, infrastructure delivery, and agricultural engineering projects. His engineering training also includes internships and project work with Meiwa Co., Ltd., Fellow System Co., Ltd., and the Ministry of Works & Infrastructure (Nigeria), contributing to large-scale infrastructure initiatives such as the Lagos–Badagry Expressway redevelopment.

In parallel with his technical career, Mr. Tomiwa spent several years in Japan as an educator, teaching English across schools and corporate environments. This experience strengthened his cross-cultural communication skills and enabled him to build trust-based relationships within Japanese communities and workplaces.

Married to a Japanese national and raising his family in Ishikawa Prefecture, he considers Japan his long-term home. Through daily life, professional engagement, and community involvement, he has developed strong personal and working relationships with Japanese entrepreneurs, business owners, and public-sector stakeholders. This lived integration positions him uniquely as a credible bridge between Japan and international markets.

His combined experience in engineering, government service, international trade facilitation, and community integration enables him to operate with transparency, reliability, and long-term alignment.
