About Amo Nurudeen Tomiwa
I am an international trade facilitator and founder of GlobalMarketJapan, dedicated to connecting Japan with trusted global partners in food, technology, and essential industries. My work builds on a unique background that combines engineering, government service, and international collaboration.
After earning my Bachelor of Engineering in Agricultural Engineering in Nigeria, I pursued a Master of Engineering in Civil & Environmental Engineering at Saitama University, Japan. I was later selected for the prestigious JICA & JETRO African Business Education Initiative, where I gained firsthand experience in business matching events, international trade promotion, and collaboration with Japanese companies.
Professionally, I have served with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development (Nigeria), overseeing water projects, infrastructure, and agricultural engineering initiatives. My engineering training also includes internships with Meiwa Co., Ltd., Fellow System Co., Ltd., and the Ministry of Works & Infrastructure (Nigeria), where I contributed to major projects such as the Lagos-Badagry Expressway redevelopment.
Beyond engineering, I have spent years as an educator in Japan, teaching English across schools and companies, which sharpened my cross-cultural communication skills and allowed me to build trust within Japanese society.
Having married a Japanese woman and raising our mixed children in Ishikawa Prefecture, I consider myself not just a guest but a part of the Japanese community. I have built strong personal and professional relationships with Japanese entrepreneurs, business owners, and government stakeholders, making me uniquely positioned to bridge opportunities between Japan and the world.
At the heart of my work is trust: governments, companies, and individuals need a partner they can rely on. My background in engineering, government service, international trade facilitation, and community integration in Japan makes me that partner.
Through GlobalMarketJapan, my mission is to create a transparent, trustworthy, and effective platform where Japanese companies can connect with global suppliers and where international businesses can successfully enter the Japanese market.

私は 国際的な貿易ファシリテーター として、日本と世界の信頼できるパートナーを結びつける活動を行っております。工学、政府機関での実務経験、そして国際的な協力活動を通じて培った知識と人脈を基盤に、食料、技術、インフラなど幅広い分野での架け橋となることを使命としております。
母国ナイジェリアにて 農業工学の学士号 を取得後、日本の 埼玉大学大学院 にて 土木・環境工学の修士号 を修めました。その後、JICA（国際協力機構）および JETRO（日本貿易振興機構）によるアフリカ人材育成イニシアティブ（ABEイニシアティブ） に選抜され、数多くのビジネスマッチングや国際貿易推進の現場に携わりました。
職務経験としては、ナイジェリアの 農業・農村開発省 にて水資源プロジェクトや農業インフラの計画・監督を担当したほか、メイワ株式会社、フェローシステム株式会社、さらに ナイジェリア公共事業・インフラ省において、大規模道路建設事業（ラゴス～バダグリ高速道路再開発など）に従事してまいりました。
また、来日後は石川県を拠点に教育分野でも活動し、英語教育を通じて 日本社会との架け橋 となる経験を積み重ねております。
私は日本人女性と結婚し、混血の子どもたちと共に石川県で生活しております。単なる外国人としてではなく、地域社会の一員 として日本人起業家や経営者、行政関係者との信頼関係を築いてまいりました。
私の歩みの中心にあるものは「信頼」です。政府、企業、そして個人にとって、信頼できるパートナーは不可欠です。工学、政府実務、国際貿易促進、そして日本社会への深い理解 を背景に、私はその役割を果たすことをお約束いたします。
